Ornamental Turners International

Ornamental Turners International (OTI) is a nationwide/international chapter of the AAW. Our bi-annual (every two years) symposium alternates between locations from the east coast, midwest, and west coast.

Speakers and demonstrators will cover topics ranging from history to techniques, makers of equipment to personal retrospectives. All presentations and demonstrations relate to some aspect of ornamental turning. Many of the world's greatest living ornamental turners will be there.

There are always a fascinating list of speakers and presentations, a banquet, and awards for the finest ornamental turnings presented at the show. You can find out more about the symposium at the www.ornamentalturners.org web site.

Equipment and lathes will be on display, as well as a gallery of member's work, show and tell, objects for sale, and other OT related items.

To attend the conference you must be a member of OTI. Annual membership is $35. For membership information or to register for the symposium contact Alan Bugbee at 37 Fox Den Road, West Simsbury, CT 06092, (860) 658-4764.
